Our LC1 students and LCA2 students visited the Careers Fair in the Brandon Hotel this November. The event was organised by the Kerry Branch of Guidance Counsellors and was open to the public and second level students.
Along with universities, institutes of technology and teacher training colleges there was information on PLC courses as well as representatives from An Garda Síochána and Fáilte Ireland. For the first time the European University Central Application Support Service attended the event to answer questions about studying elsewhere in the EU. The students found the Careers Fair very interesting and helpful in focusing the mind on their future opportunities.
