Our TY students that travelled to Listowel this evening to showcase their Enterprise ideas such as Seaweed Bath Bags (Claire Beasley, Conor Heaphy and Emma Hogan) Apple Juice from freshly picked apples in Glin Castle (Alex Duff) and hand painted Christmas decorations (Grace McElligott). They pitched their ideas to local businesses who are now willing to stock their products and made fantastic sales on the night.
As well as that, they had the opportunity to seek advice from Dragons Den, Gavin Duffy and also got to meet Munster rugby players Sean McCarthy and Francis Saili who were highly impressed with their innovative ideas and enterprising initiative.
Overall, a very happy bunch of budding entrepreneurs and a very proud teacher.
