Transition Year students are hosting a concert in the school assembly hall this Thursday night February 2nd. Tickets are on sale @€5 in the school mall at lunch time Tuesday and Wednesday, and at the door on the night.

Choir start ‘From Darkness into Light’ walk
The Tarbert Comprehensive School Choir gathered at 3:15am for the Darkness into Light Walk. For the second year running the Choir were there to spur on all those who took part in the walk. And when the singing was complete the Choir with their teachers completed the Pieta House Fundraising 5km walk themselves. Well done to all students, teachers and the extended family of TCS school choir for your fabulous music on the night.
Student Council attend Dail Eireann
Thirteen of the fourteen members along with Ms. A. O’Sullivan, their link teacher, went to Dail Eireann on Tuesday May 24th where they met local politician Mr. Micheal Healy Rae and received a grand tour of Leinster House.
Tarbert Comprehensive Student attend Sci-Fest and bring home the honours
Students attended the Sci Fest in the IT Tralee on May 5th and once again brought home the honours. Orlaith McSweeney, a second year student won the junior category with her project ‘Can Pollen cure Hayfever’ and Roisin Noonan from Transition Year received an honourable mention for her project on Motion Sensors for Bicycles. Congratulations to both girls and indeed to all who took part in the event. And a big thank you to Ms. Nolan for all her work with the students.
