BT Young Scientist Exhibition

January 13, 2017

Two TY teams are exhibiting at the Young Scientist this week. Chloe O’Carroll, Aine Enright, and Aoife O’Brien project is based on the safety of equestrians on public roads. Having a high interest in horse riding themselves, they have noticed how there is a lack of awareness towards the correct rules of the road when encountering someone horse riding. The girls project is based on improving this safety. .Tomás Culhane and Ciaran Healy have noticed how there can be a struggle in maintaining the correct current in an electric fence as current can be lost due to vegetation being in contact with the fence. They designed a fence in which current lost will be at a minimum. The students have put in a huge amount of work to have their work ready for the exhibition and we wish them luck for event.
