In Tarbert Comprehensive students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities, including, cultural, social and sporting activities. Along with the academic students are encouraged to participate in the extracurricular as a means of developing their confidence, self esteem and social skills.
In recognition of the positive relationship which exists between participation in organised extracurricular activities and personal development, students of all ages and all abilities are encouraged to participate. The wide range of activities, from the many sporting, musical, artistic, cultural and voluntary groups offers enough of a choice that there is something for everyone.
Our school motto is ‘Mens Sane In Corpore Sano’ (a healthy mind and a healthy body) and every day we aim to live up to our motto so our students may become responsible, independent contributors to their own and all our futures.
