Pupils of the Comprehensive were delighted on Tuesday November 4th to welcome two very famous cups to the school. The visit was made all the more special as the Sam Maguire was brought by past pupil and Tarbert native Shane Enright and the Tom Markham was carried into the gym by current pupils Brion O’Seanachain and Jason Foley. The three All Ireland medal winners were welcomed with rapturous applause. Kevin Beasely the nutritionist with the Kerry team also spoke of the importance of healthy eating and exercise in keeping oneself healthy and fit. A huge thank you to the players and to the mentors who organised the visit.
