As part of the 1848 Tricolour Celebration 2015 all schools in Ireland were presented with a Tricolour in Waterford on March 12th by the Thomas F Meagher foundation. Maggie Flavin, Jack McEnery and Anthony Hanlon members of the Student council along with Ms. A. O’Sullivan the Student Council Liaison Officer travelled to Waterford to receive the Tricolour on behalf of the students, staff and the school community. In a ceremony officiated by Mary Kennedy and in which President Micheal D. Higgins spoke Jack McEnery accepted the Flag on behalf of us all.
