U16s are through to Munster B Schools Rugby Final

March 19, 2014 by Admin.

Our under 16 and 1/2s are into the Munster Final after a comprehensive win over Colaiste Ciaran Croom in todays semi final. Congratulations to the team and to Mr. Trench on today’s win.
The sun shone on the Comp as the two teams took to the well manicured pitch at 12 noon. The Comp boys got off to a great start and were soon up 19 to 5. It was thought it might be a game of two halves as the Comp lads were playing with the wind. However, this was not the case as the lads continued with some great plays in the second half. The training that had been put in over the last number of weeks was to pay off as they played as a solid unit and their well rehearsed moves were to provide them with even more tries. The score at the final whistle was 54 to 10. The game was played in the spirit of great sportsmanship and watched by parents and club rugby coaches along with student support. The team they will meet in the final has yet to be decided. We wish them well in their training and watch this space for information on the final.
